Friends, Family, Brothers, Sisters…Iglesia (Church, in Espanol!),

What a week! I have to be honest, it is always difficult to put a mission trip into words so that others can get a glimpse of our experience.  So I’ll make a deal with you…I’ll post a quick thought, there are pictures with some commentary, and then I’ll leave it to the Team Members to share stories with you about the trip.  Let me simply say this…WE ARE CHANGED.  Jesus has done a work in us and he has allowed us to share his Good News with people who have not heard it before, and it is has been our privilege.

For me the most significant moment of the trip was on Thursday night.  We had just shown a Christian movie and shared the Good News of Christ to a community room filled with people who were captivated with the message.  After we packed up we were all outside under the stars waiting on our vans and the team began to pray and worship God under the beautiful sky, full of stars…and we were full of wonder.  It struck me that I love being a  Christian and love living a beautiful adventure.  This life is all I’ve ever wanted and more.

Thanks be to Jesus, enjoy the pics.  (And remember to bug a team member to tell you a story!)
