9 And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. 13 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (Colossians 1:9-14)
What a wonderful day we shared with the White family yesterday! They were so gracious to show us around their new town – from amazing overlooks and market shopping to the coffee museum and a fabulous dinner, it was a fantastic day in Antigua. Through it all, of course, we were able to hear more from the Whites about their new role with Americas Connect, and how Antigua is a perfect staging point for the work they will be doing with new teams.
After dinner, we returned to the Whites’ home for Team Time. David shared a devotional and we had a great time singing worship songs together. We also had a bittersweet time of prayer with the Whites, knowing that our time with them was growing very short. But, we have this morning, and we’re looking forward to a nice breakfast with them in just a few minutes!
Our flight should leave around 3 pm (4 pm EST), so please join us in praying that our travels go smoothly and that we’ll be able to keep all the things we’ve seen and experienced close to our hearts as we return to our everyday lives. We so appreciate your prayers this week. We can’t wait to tell you even more about it!
